Paul Waberski joined the firm in 1996. From a farm management background, he has a MBA in Agri-business Management. Paul manages a large number of contract farming and joint venture arrangements and advises on planning issues surrounding agricultural dwellings and their justification. He also specialises in providing business re structuring and feasibility studies. Like many of the team, he also farms adding a practical dimension to his advice.

Martin Newton joined the team in 2008 as a consultant after a career
advising members of a large national organisation on a wide range of
legal and technical issues. From a farming background, Martin has
extensive financial sector experience and advises a number of clients on
strategic and tactical issues including budgeting, and advice on funding
opportunities. In addition he advises on running farm businesses within
the increasingly complex regulatory framework e.g Single Farm Payment
advice, cross compliance etc.

Fay Chester is a Chartered Environmentalist and provides
conservation advice to farms, estates and businesses. Based
at the Grantham office, she provide specialist advice to clients
across the firm. She has a strong commercial and practical view
on environmental projects for businesses having had first hand
experiences with her family's farm. Fay joined Brown & Co
in 2006 from FWAG, where she had worked in a similar capacity
for a number of years.

Deborah Tomblin is an assistant consultant and joined the firm in
2000. From an accountancy background, she specialises in
contract farming, joint venture agreements and in the technical
and administrative tasks surrounding the SFP scheme, including
entitlement transfers and retention periods. She also advises on
environmental stewardship, waste management exemptions and
soil protection reviews.
