King's Lynn based team Advising clients East Anglia

Rob Hughes heads up the team based at the King's Lynn office. Specifically he advises on business structure and strategic advice, business reviews and their appraisal, joint ventures as well as EU legislation and Conservation Grant Schemes. Advising farmers in Norfolk and surrounding counties since 1989, he is also actively involved in local farming interest groups
including the Clan Trust and recently took over running the Sixth Form Student Day for Holt Farmers' Club.

Tim Young joined the expanding King's Lynn team in February
2006. Having graduated in Agricultural Farm Business
Management at Newcastle University, he returned to work
on his family's Norfolk farm gaining practical arable and vegetable
growing experience. With 18 months accountancy experience
gained at Grant Thornton, he is using both his accounting and
farming knowledge to work with the team on business appraisal,
SFP and environmental work.

James Brown has been appointed a trainee farm business consultant at Brown & Co’s King’s Lynn office.
Born into a Staffordshire farming family, he attended Harper Adams University College in Shropshire and gained an honours degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Alongside plenty of practical on-farm experience, James has first hand experience of farmers markets and has worked as a researcher for the Country Land and Business Association. In his college placement year he worked as a trainee consultant in the North of England, assisting farming, landowning and equine clients.
