Selling at auction is simple and straightforward. It is a good way of ensuring you achieve a fair price for your property and we can ensure that your property is promoted and marketed effectively with an agreed reserve to ensure a sale does not take place at any price.

Delivery of items
Once a seller’s requirements have been discussed and any necessary valuation completed, items can be delivered to the auction rooms.

The Brown & Co Auction Rooms are open Monday to Friday
9.00am – 5.30pm for receipt of goods.  

Please note, goods cannot be accepted on view days and saledays.

Should a seller have doubts as to the potential saleability of goods,
or wish to bring a large quantity of items or want to ensure
that a valuer will be available on arrival, they are advised to
call 01652 650172.

Transportation to the auction rooms can be organised with a firm
of independent removers at the seller’s own cost. 

On arrival of all items at the auction room, a receipt will be issued to
the seller bearing a personal reference number. This should be
quoted in all further communication.  The receipt also gives details
of our charges and regulations and Conditions of Business.

House clearances
Brown & Co Auction Rooms undertake complete house clearances,
including disposal of goods not suitable for sale by auction. Items
are stored free in a heated high security facility until the first
suitable auction.
