Antique Discovery Clinics
We offer a free verbal valuation at our weekly clinic - held every
Thursday at our Brigg saleroom from 9.30am - 12 noon.

We also undertake well publicised off site valuation clinics, often in
support of our chosen charity MacMillan.

If it is impractical to transport an item to the auction rooms for
appraisal, sellers may e-mail a photograph to the valuation team to
provide an opinion.

If a valuation is requested, it will be carried out by the auctioneers
that will be responsible for subsequently selling it, maintaining
continous personal involvement throughout the process.  

Written valuations
Brown & Co Auction Rooms team can supply a written valuation for
probate purposes, for insurance companies where the value of
individual items is above a designated threshold and in family division
cases, when home contents need to be equally divided for divorce
purposes.
