Grantham Commercial Department

Grantham is a historic market town located in the centre of the county of Lincolnshire, one of the country’s largest counties, and which has its heritage traditionally linked to agriculture and engineering.

The town is associated with being the birth place of Sir Isaac Newton as well as Lady Thatcher, the longest serving female Prime Minister the country has ever had, and is home to many interesting and historic buildings in the immediate vicinity, to include Belvoir Castle and Belton House, which is operated by the National Trust.

Grantham has recently been awarded Growth Point Status and is set to grow dramatically both residentially and commercially in the coming 10-15 years, and the town benefits from excellent communication links being located beside the A1 dual carriageway linking the town to the north and south of the country, as well as having a main line rail link to London Kings Cross with a journey time of approximately 70 minutes.  The town’s position in the middle of England makes it particularly attractive to manufacturing and logistics businesses, who can rely on the excellent road communication links with the vast majority of the country being reached from Grantham in approximately 2-3 hours by road.

The Grantham Commercial Property Team comprises Chartered Surveyors, Nick Dawes MRICS, who is a Partner and Head of the firm’s Commercial Division, and Senior Associate, James Cameron DipSurv MRICS, who both provide a comprehensive agency service for national, regional and local clients across all market sectors, to include residential and commercial development and investment acquisition and disposal.   The Grantham office also operates a busy Property Management Department as well as a full range of other professional services to include valuation, landlord and tenant, rating and planning.  Nick and James have extensive knowledge of the region in which they are based with a combined experience in the property industry of some 40 years between them.
