Charlie joined Brown and Co’s Boston Office in 1996 for work experience with James O’Brien prior to going to the Royal Agricultural College to study an MSc in Rural Estate Management. Charlie is a Partner of the firm and Office Manager of the Spalding Office.

Charlie undertakes a wide range of professional work, his main specialisation is in farm agency, valuation and auctioneering. Charlie is Brown & Co’s AMC Agent and nominated Valuer for Lincolnshire and surrounding counties.

Tom was a Founding Partner of Brown & Co and Senior Partner from 2005 to 2009. He is now a Consultant of the Firm. After 35 years in practice, Tom is experienced in all the challenges that face farming families. He acts primarily, though not exclusively for owners, occupiers and tenants in Lincolnshire, North Cambridgeshire and West Norfolk.

Tom specialises in the purchase, sale and valuation of farms and investment estates and advises on the division of family assets, the dissolution of partnerships and restructuring of farm businesses. Tom is an experienced auctioneer and conducts machinery and property auctions across the eastern region.

Tom is a past President of the Lincolnshire Association of Agricultural Valuers and the Wisbech Association of Agricultural Valuers. He is a member of the RICS Panel of Rural Practice Arbitrators.

James has worked in Lincolnshire since 1986, principally on behalf of owner occupiers and tenants, and is a founder partner partner of Brown & Co.

He covers a wide variety of rural agency and professional work specialising in Agricultural Tenancy Law and practice including rent reviews, successions arbitration, agricultural land tribunal, valuations for all purposes and taxation.

James is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Panel of Arbitrators and acts as independent Expert and Expert Witness. He is a member of the RICS Valuation Standard Board, and the RICS Panel of Rural Practice Arbitrators and sits on the CAAV Valuation Taxation and Compensation Committee.

Elizabeth is from a Cambridgeshire farming family and joined Brown & Co, Kings Lynn office in the summer of 2005, after completing a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University College in Shropshire.

Elizabeth moved to the Spalding office in January 2009. Elizabeth works on a wide range of professional work, mainly specialising in Property & Machinery Auctions, Valuations, Agency and Compensation matters.

Thomas joined Brown & Co. in 2007 after graduating from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester with a degree in Rural Land Management.

Based at the Spalding office as assistant to Charlie Bryant, Thomas is primarily involved in farm agency, valuation, machinery auctions as well as general professional work.
