Residential Tenancies
Our dedicated management teams will invoice and collect rent, and other monies due, and transfer to the property owner. Adopting a proactive approach, rents are regularly reviewed.
Liaising closely with our accounts department, we help ensure monies are paid on time. Should a tenant fall into arrears, we will advise the client on an appropriate course of action. As deemed appropriate, we liaise with lawyers to resolve the matter or take further action to regain possession of the property. We carry out management inspections to ensure tenancy conditions are met and to assess and approve any repairs and advise on statutory regulations and ensure these are complied with.
Flat block and residential portfolio management:
Brown & Co manages residential blocks for owners and residents’ associations, ranging from four properties to a development of over three hundred flats, providing general and strategic
maintenance plans.
Such management includes:
• acting as Company Secretary • collecting ground rent and service charges • inspecting common parts and building fabric • administration of contracts re building and maintenance services• advising on other property matters as required.
