Jim Major BSc (Hons) FRICS FAAV
A long established figure in the area, Jim heads up the Land
Agency team in King's Lynn and is now managing partner of Brown & Co. Educated at King Edward VII School in King's
Lynn and then at Reading University, he qualified as a chartered
surveyor in 1981. Jim specialises in farm agency and valuation,
and is involved in a wide range of professional matters, mainly
in private client work in the rural sector but also in development
land issues.

Chris Purllant B.Sc (Hons) MRICS FAAV
Born in to a North Cambridgeshire farming family, Chris gained a BSc
(Hons) degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams
Agricultural College, before returning to East Anglia to embark on a
career in land agency. Having qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1999,
he gained membership of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers
(CAAV) in 2007. With ten years experience of land valuation, estate
management, machinery auctioneering and general farm business management
in East Anglia, Chris joined Brown & Co in 2008.

Mary Ralph BSc MRICS
Mary Ralph gained a Masters in Rural Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural College before moving to Norfolk. She qualified in 2003 and has six years experience working with clients throughout the county. Mary joined Brown & Co in 2007. Her particular expertise lie in estate management - with a focus on maximising returns from rural property assets - compensation claims and rural property valuation.

Elizabeth Cave BSc MRICS FAAV
Elizabeth comes from a family farming background in north
Cambridgeshire. She graduated from Harper Adams University College
having studied a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management and
joined Brown & Co's King's Lynn office in the summer of 2005. Elizabeth
qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and as a Fellow of the Central
Association of Agricultural Valuers in 2007. She is involved in all
aspects of professional work including farm machinery auctions,
valuation, farm agency and agricultural tenancy matters.
