Banbury is a market town in North Oxfordshire. It is located on the river Cherwell with the M40 running to the East side of the town. The area has many links to motor racing with several F1 teams based in and around the town. The town is located on the edge of the Cotswolds.
Banbury has several schools within the town including the Banbury Academy and North Oxfordshire Academy.
In the surrounding area there are also very prestigious schools including Tudor Hall School in Banbury, Bloxham School in Bloxham and Sibford School in Sibford Ferris.
The town has a direct rail link to London Marylebone station, a travel time of fifty minutes with trains every hour. There are also train lines to Birmingham and nearby Warwick. The town is well located within easy reach of the M40 motorway which travels North to Birmingham and South to London. The best airport links are found at Birmingham but Banbury also has good transport links to Heathrow and Gatwick in London.
