ACCOMMODATION
THE SITE
The 26 acre site borders a main road into Colsterworth and the junction with the A1 dual-carriageway. It also borders a residential house scheme for 48 dwellings and a new neighbourhood Co-Op store, both of which are shortly to be constructed.

PLANNING
CURRENT LOCAL PLAN STATUS
The site falls within the planning jurisdiction of South Kesteven District Council. South Kesteven District Council have been reviewing their Local Plan and have recently been through the process of a Call for Sites. Representations have been made for the promotion of this land and it has been identified as a potential site for residential development with an element of employment use.

South Kesteven District Council needs to find additional housing numbers. Following significant housing allocations and some consents granted in the Main Service Centres of Grantham, Stamford and Bourne, they now need to rely on the Local Service Centres to provide further allocations. There are only a few settlements that qualify for Local Service Centre status and the Local Authority are looking to find circa 6,000 houses to be provided by the Local Service Centres.

OPPORTUNITY
My clients are looking to instruct either a developer or promoter to take the site through to a planning consent.

USE
The Planning Authority would like to see a promotion for a housing scheme with an element of employment use.
