OFFSHORE WIND FARMS SET TO DISRUPT NORFOLK FARM LAND

New developments in offshore wind power are set to impact Norfolk farmers again, as news breaks of plans to bring power ashore from the Sheringham Shoal and Dudgeon extensions. This announcement comes as Norfolk landowners await the outcome of the Development Consent Order applications for the Hornsea 3, Vanguard and Boreas Schemes, which should start construction in the next 3 years.

Professional, balanced advice is needed from an early stage to give landowners the best opportunity to manage any potential disruption. Brown&Co Rural team have advised on the Hornsea 1,2, 3 and 4 schemes, Sheringham Shoal and Dudgeon Phase 1, Triton Knoll, Viking Link and the two Vattenfall projects, Vanguard and Boreas. We have experience of assisting landowners on these projects from inception to completion, and anyone wishing for further advice, should contact Jonathan Rush or Jamie Seaman in the Norwich office on 01603 629871.
