As well as having grown up as a farm manager’s son in Norfolk, Andrew has eight years of involvement on large farming businesses in a technical manager and assistant manager role. His time in management and as an agriculture student at Sutton Bonnington (The University of Nottingham) allowed him to gain valuable experience in arable cropping, seed and ware potatoes, compost, horseradish, and a number of livestock enterprises from an outdoor pig finishing unit to his own suckler herd.
Andrew enjoys his involvement with the RNAA where he is on the council and chairs the YIELD group.
