Matthew joined the King’s Lynn Office in September 2019 as a Graduate Land Agent with a BSc Hons degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams University. He is a member of the Land Agency department and is working towards his RICS APC and CAAV qualifications.
As part of his degree Matthew spent a placement year with a diverse private Estate in Devon where he gained experience in various aspects of Estate management including residential and commercial property, management of the natural environment, and forestry and farm management. He was also involved with the Estate’s focus on its Natural Capital and EPC regulations.
He is also particularly interested in Landlord and Tenant matters and has recently researched extensively into the involvement between Landlord and Tenant in regard to farm infrastructure in his dissertation.
Matthew grew up in Suffolk on his family’s smallholding and has a keen interest in agriculture and forestry. He has previously worked for a large arable farm in Suffolk and organic dairy farm in Devon. Outside work he likes being active and enjoys cycling, rowing and sailing.
