James Watkins - Architectural Assistant, Associate, BA (Hons) MArch

James joined Brown&Co’s Architecture & Planning team in November 2021. He completed his RIBA Parts I and II at the University of Lincoln and has over 8 years of experience working in practices in Norfolk and Suffolk.

James has worked on projects of varying scales and has gained great experience in the residential sector. He has a keen eye for detail and enjoys bringing projects to life through 3D computer modelling: an important communication tool. James is looking forward to expanding his technical knowledge and skills set at Brown & Co as he pursues his Part III accreditation and, ultimately, Architect status.

During his childhood, James lived in Valencia, Spain where he witnessed the construction of Santiago Calatrava’s ‘la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias’, sparking his interest in architecture. He would love an opportunity to work and maybe even live in Spain again sometime in the future.
