Will Abbott joined the Banbury office of Brown&Co in 2016. Will qualified as a rural Auctioneer and Valuer in 1977 and has spent most of his professional life advising farmers and landowners throughout the Vale of Aylesbury.   

During that time Will has been a staunch supporter of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and locally has enjoyed spells as Chairman of the Berks & Oxon RVA and twice as the President of the Herts, Beds and Bucks Valuers Association. He has also been a ‘Recommended Professional’ for the Tenant Farmers’ Association for more than 30 years.

During his career, Will has particularly enjoyed organizing on-farm dispersal sales of Live and Dead farming stock which is work that has dovetailed nicely when advising agricultural tenants or devising plans for farming succession. His one annual obligation has been to ensure that Basic Payment returns are submitted to the Rural Payments Agency for clients prior to the 15th May deadline.
