A recruitment firm is to open up in a large ground floor office unit in 7, Bank Plain in the city centre.

Mach Recruitment, which has its head office in West Yorkshire, has leased the premises through our Norwich Commercial team.

The former tenant, an estate agency, vacated to relocate elsewhere.

The 1,149sqft unit will be the new Norwich base for Mach Recruitment which has more than 80 on-site operations and 10 high street branches which serves their clients base across the UK.

Richard Duckett, head of facilities management, Mach Recruitment, said: “We are delighted to announce that we will be moving into Norwich city centre, in Bank Plain.

“Our recruitment business is going from strength to strength, the jobs market is buoyant, and we are looking forward to helping match those looking for work with those who need staff using our expertise and local knowledge.”

Anna Smith, Commercial Surveyor, Brown&Co, who leased the premises to Mach Recruitment, said: “We are pleased to see continued demand for premises from professional service operators in Norwich. This demonstrates there is still benefit from having a physical presence on the High Street or in the city centre.”

“It seems post Covid, the importance of dealing with people face to face is more important, especially in certain sectors such as recruitment which is a people business.

“We are delighted to agree the letting of 7, Bank Plain to Mach Recruitment and think they will be a real asset to Norwich’s high street.”
