Tiggy Birch - Architectural Intern, BA (Hons)

Tiggy joined Brown&Co in September 2025 for an internship with the Architecture and Planning
department.

She recently graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Interior
Architecture - an innovative course that blends interior design and architecture, with a strong
emphasis on the adaptive re-use of existing buildings. With most of the built environment in
developed countries already constructed, the course takes a future-focused approach to
sustainable design by reimagining and transforming spaces rather than building anew.

Originally from Norwich, she comes from a family with a background in property but has always
been drawn to the creative and conceptual side of design. She has a particular interest in
commercial interiors, especially office environments, and has an affinity towards biophilic design
principles that promote wellbeing and productivity.

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, Tiggy is currently developing her skills
in ArchiCAD while supporting the team on a range of commercial projects.
