Brown & Co’s Kings Lynn and Norwich offices have secured an instruction to jointly promote a large extensively refurbished food processing facility in North Norfolk.
The premises are being offered on behalf of Kinnerton Confectionary, who are relocating the operation to their expanding HQ facility in nearby Fakenham.
Kinnerton, Britain’s largest independent manufacturer of chocolate and novelty confectionary with over 800 employees, have upgraded the premises and used it for packing, storage and distribution of chocolates and confectionary.
Established in 1978, Kinnerton now produce over 10 million advent calendars and 20 million easter eggs every year, on top of developing over 200 licenced confectionary characters over the last 30 years.
The factory is located at South Creake, 6 miles from Fakenham and 23 miles from Kings Lynn.
Offering production and warehouse facilities of 34,000 sq ft, together with canteen, workshop and stores, the 40,900 sq ft complex comes with two houses and an optional 22 acres of agricultural land.
Nick Dunn from the Norwich office advises “this is a superb facility that is well suited to the food industry or will suit a wide variety of alternative storage or workshop uses as a result of its flexible layout and broad range of facilities”.
John Weston from Brown & Co’s Kings Lynn office adds “At a guide price of £1.15 million for the whole, the site will provide a cost effective property solution to the right party, and I am pleased that we are already engaging in discussions with a number of potential purchasers”.
