Ragdale soils are described as slowly permeable, seasonally waterlogged, clayey and fine loamy over clayey soils. Fladbury 2 is described as stoneless clayey soils variably affected by groundwater, some with sandy subsoils and some similar fine loamy soils. The land provides good versatile soils which are suitable for a variety of crops including cereals and grassland.

Location

The land is accessible directly from the public highway known as Ings Lane and lies in the east of Lincolnshire, within the parish of Horsington, between the villages of Horsington and Woodhall Spa. The property is approximately 3 miles north of Woodhall Spa and 6 miles from Horncastle.

From Woodhall Spa travel north on Stixwould Road and continue through Stixwould. Follow Stixwould Lane as it becomes Moor Lane heading northeast, then take the first left onto Ings Lane. After approximately 300 metres, the land will be located on your right-hand side.
