A 16th century timber framed house and a 15th century chapel, both Grade II listed, are for sale as a renovation project with our Norwich auction team.

St Bartholomews, off Clermont Lane, Sudbury, Suffolk, is for sale at online auction for a guide price of £775,000-£825,000.

The house is divided into two with a self-contained one-bedroom annexe and well-arranged accommodation on two floors.

In addition there is the chapel and a steel portal framed agricultural building, all set in 2.403 hectares (5.938 acres).

The property is approached from the public highway onto a private driveway which leads up to the house which benefits from pleasant gardens to the front and rear. The chapel is located to the rear of the house.

Peter Hornor, auctioneer, Norwich, said: "The house itself is in very poor order but it is a magnificent property that would make a fine family home either with or without the annexe, which could easily be incorporated into St Bartholomews."

The online auction starts with bidding at midday on September 26 and is scheduled to end at midday on September 27.
