James graduated from the Royal Agricultural College with an honours degree in Rural Land Management. He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor, an RICS Registered Valuer and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.

James joined Brown&Co in 2016 having previously practiced across Lincolnshire and North Norfolk. He is primarily involved in a wide variety of professional work including valuations, agency of agricultural and rural property, planning, compulsory purchase and compensation.
