OVER £1.5M WORTH OF PROPERTY SOLD UNDER THE HAMMER AT BROWN & CO’S SPRING PROPERTY AUCTION

We have now held our first auction of the year at the Assembly House in Norwich, selling a wide variety of lots with £1,547,000 worth of property sold on the day.

 

Many of our readers will have seen the catalogue which is also available online.  We have some lots unsold and we continue to be busy dealing with enquiries from prospective purchasers.

 

A number of properties sold very well indeed including a super cottage on the edge of Rackheath, near Norwich, selling in excess of the reserve together with a property in Bramerton in need of renovation which sold well at £310,000.  A property in Newmarket Road in need of renovation equally sold in excess of the reserve price, being suitable for conversion or extension, subject to planning, and we were also delighted with the sale of a property in need of renovation in Colney on the edge of Norwich.

 

Otherwise, lots in Frettenham and Bacton sold well and a bungalow in Plumstead Road sold for a figure in excess of £50,000 over the reserve.
