Four listed buildings in the centre of Norwich with potential for Commercial/Leisure or Residential use are for sale.

Wensum Lodge, 169, King Street is a riverside site measuring approximately 0.84 acres which is for sale, freehold, with our Commercial team in Norwich.

The site, which fronts the River Wensum opposite the Norwich Riverside development, includes a former maltings, stable block and two other buildings; ‘Arts and Crafts’ and ‘The Tuns.’

The buildings are locally listed and have been recently used as an adult education centre.

The site is surrounded by both Commercial and Residential buildings. Norwich railway station is close by, as is Norwich City Football Ground with the city centre about 10 minutes walk away.

Andrew Haigh, Commercial Surveyor, Brown&Co, said: “The site is within the City Centre Conservation Area and the development should focus on the re-use of the existing buildings for a wide range of appropriate Commercial/Leisure or Residential conversions, subject to the character and form of the buildings being conserved and enhanced.

“Norwich City Council has promoted King Street as a regeneration priority for a number of years. This site is a key location to achieve that.”
