Our Commercial team has negotiated a five-year lease renewal with Waterstones book store in the centre of Lincoln.

The store, 297a High Street, a period building which was once the Saracen's Head Hotel, is arranged over three shop floors. 

James Cameron, Commercial Partner, Business Space and Investment Agency, based in our Doddington Road office in Lincoln, said: "We acted on behalf of the landlords, M B Property Management Ltd and negotiated a five-year lease renewal effective from July, 2023 at a Zone Rate A of approximately £90 per sqft.

"This demonstrates our continuing impact on the Lincoln Commercial property market and our ability to deal with large-scale professional work such as lease renewals involving key High Street retail premises."

The renewal comes after the team also concluded negotiations on behalf of another landlord, in respect of a three-year lease renewal effective from August 2023 involving premises occupied by the Bank of Scotland/Halifax at 27-28 Market Place in Boston, Lincolnshire which is another key property in the centre of a large market town.
