Ian joined Brown&Co when JHWalter in Lincoln merged with the practice on 1 st October 2021 after he had worked for over 40 years as a partner in the family firm.

A chartered surveyor, Ian specialises in the buying and selling of farms and land for a wide range of clients. Ian has an extensive knowledge of the market in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. He is an experienced property and chattels auctioneer.

A graduate of the University of Reading with an Honours degree in Estate Management, Ian is also a chartered environmentalist.
