The soils belong to the Beccles 3 Soil Association which is described as slowly permeable seasonally waterlogged fine loamy over clayey soils and similar soils with only slight seasonal waterlogging, some calcareous clayey slopes especially on steeper slopes. These soils are capable of growing winter cereals and some short term grassland. Sugar beet has also been grown on the farm in the recent past.

The land is located east and north east of the village of Great Hale, in the North Kesteven District of Lincolnshire. The land is situated approximately 7 miles east of Sleaford and 12 miles west of Boston.

VAT

Terms
